Meet the Crew : Harlen Paraone, Customer Service

Whether you call us on the phone or drop into the showroom, if your enquiry is about coolers or filtration it will probably be Harlen helping you out.

Harlen has been part of the PASLR team since 2018 when he started as a Water Cooler Technician. His role involved the maintenance and cleaning of water coolers and fountains including plumbed in units and under bench water filtration, light repairs, changing of filters on filtered water taps and minor repairs.

He also completed his confined spaces training and played an important role as part of the field team, often supporting the pump technicians as a second person on pump jobs.

In April 2020 as our business expanded a newly created role of Water Administrator was established, bringing Harlen into the showroom and office to act as the main point of contact for filtration and cooler enquiries. Harlen’s background in customer service and technical knowledge from the field made him the perfect fit for the job.

“It’s an awesome company to be part of, we have a great group of people to work with, there are lots of laughs and every day I’m learning on the job and absorbing new information from the team,” he says.

Harlen’s job also involves booking in the water technicians and scheduling their days, along with “about fifty other little minor things” across customer service and operations. He also mans the showroom and helps customers find solutions for their water treatment and pumping needs.

“We love to have people come into the showroom, there’s always a friendly staff member around to answer questions and offer free advice about filtration, pumps or power. We have a good range of products on the shop floor, from very basic sediment filters right through to pumps and multi-stage filtration. Come and have a nosey, pop in and have a chat – we are always happy to help,” he says.
