Meet the crew: Nav Kant - Water Cooler & Filtration Technician

Nav ensures our customers in Wellington have clean, safe drinking water, that their water coolers are sanitized and their water filters are performing as they should be.  

From big Zenith and Billi units to all types of water coolers and residential filters, across hospitals, corporate offices, universities and everywhere in between, Nav says every day he’s in a different type of building with different requirements.

“The best part of the job is travelling, visiting new places and learning new things every day,” he says. “I’m working by myself, but I don’t mind this, I just get in there and get the job done.”

Prior to joining the PASLR team in January 2025, Nav had fifteen years of experience in general maintenance and had his own general maintenance business in Fiji where his customers included government departments, hospitals and hotels.

Nav and his family immigrated to New Zealand in 2023. Outside of work he is a husband and dad to two young boys. He’s into sports, plays Masters soccer and is often participating in sporting tournaments organised by the local Fijian community.

“I really enjoy being in New Zealand – the people here are really nice and helpful,” he says.
