The PALSR team were called into a large multinational company in Wellington to replace their twelve year old, very rundown watercooler. Covered in mould with broken taps and still being used daily by the general manager and senior members of the team, it had been over two years since it had last been serviced.
It was a classic case of maintenance slipping under the radar, staff getting busy and forgetting to schedule in a service – something that happens far too often in workplaces.
The company now has a brand new Free Standing Bottle Top Water Cooler and is on a regular water cooler servicing plan to ensure continuous clean, safe drinking water for the whole team. We also installed a Microlene Bench Top Drinking Water Filter Kit to filter their tap water.

“The PASLR team knows us, and they come out every three months to service the coolers – it’s all pretty seamless and not very expensive,” explains Matt, one of the business leaders.
“Our staff is growing and we care about what they’re drinking. Water coolers aren’t regulated but it’s important that we provide clean safe drinking water. If someone were to get sick from drinking out of our coolers – especially someone who is immune compromised, we’d be in all sorts of trouble.”
Matt is also impressed with how much better the water makes his coffee taste!
