Five reasons to use a water cooler cover

While there’s nothing wrong with a naked water bottle, a water cooler cover can definitely smarten up the look of your water cooler plus it can provide you with these added benefits…

1. Insulation – A water cooler cover helps regulate the temperature inside your water bottle keeping the water consistent – especially if you don’t have a chiller. No one wants to drink warm water!
2. Sun protection – Just like us when we spend too much time in the sun, the water in your water cooler is also affected when left sitting in direct sunlight all day. If you’re in a low usage environment the water at the top of your water bottle can become quite still and could turn green. While your filter will remove any nasties from your drinking water, it’s not a pretty sight and it’s better to avoid it in the first place.
3. Hygiene – By providing a protective sleeve for your water cooler, you help eliminate dust, dirt and other contaminants from making their way into the water bottle. This is particularly handy if your water cooler is exposed to the outdoors such as a warehouse or high traffic area, or if you’re in a high-risk area such as a hospital or medical centre.
4. Extra protection – A cooler bottle jacket can reduce the risk of scratches, bumps and accidental damage and adds a layer of protection when bottles are being stored or moved around.
5. Safety – If your water cooler is in a humid environment such as a leisure centre or sports facility, it is possible condensation could form on the outside of the bottle and cause a bit of a puddle. Avoid slip hazards by using a water cooler cover.
