Reasons why filtered water will benefit your workplace
Drinking water is an everyday practice in the workplace – we all know we should be downing two litres a day. However, many organisations still do not provide their employees with adequate safe filtered drinking water. Here are three smart reasons why you should consider installing a water fountain, water cooler or bench top water filter in your office, factory, gym, school or home.
It’s good for health and safety
Having potable water for your staff to drink seems like a no-brainer right? And while we all agree in principle, the PASLR team visit a number of workplaces where unbeknownst to anyone the drinking water is neither safe or healthy. If you have an under bench or bench top water filter and have failed to keep up with regular maintenance and filter changes, there is a good chance you’re at risk of water contamination. Whether you provide an under bench water filter, free standing water fountain or water cooler in your workplace, we can help you get on a regular maintenance plan so your system is always safe and hygienic and your filters are changed at the appropriate time to avoid transmitting bugs.
It’s good manners
No one wants a glass of lukewarm, metallic tasting water when they sit down for a meeting and we think providing both your customers and staff with healthy, great tasting water is just good manners. Whether you install a free-standing water fountain in a waiting room or reception area so visitors can help themselves while they wait, or you have under bench filtration in the lunch room so staff can refill their drink bottles and not second guess drinking tap water, it is one of those small touches that shows you care.
It’s good for the environment
No one wants to see workplace rubbish bins filled with single use plastic water bottles – in fact, with good water filtration in your workplace there should be no need for plastic! However, if your tap water tastes funny or smells strange people are more likely to opt for a safer pre-packaged bottle of water than use the tap. If you buy a water cooler from us, we can provide you with 100% biodegradable cups, perfect for people visiting your office who may not have their own drink bottle.
