Meet the crew – Alicia Boyd, Contracts & Maintenance Manager

Alicia first started with PASLR in 2018 as the Receptionist for what was then All Pumps. After studying hospitality in Queenstown she returned part-time in 2021 to look after social media marketing.

“My studies were great. I learnt a lot, not only about hospitality but it taught me much needed things about how the individual sections of a company run and gave me some of the tools needed to potentially run my own business one day, just like my mum (PASLR Director, Darlene Henshaw),” she says.

In 2023, after returning from maternity leave, Alicia stepped into her current role of Contracts & Maintenance Manager where she is responsible for creating customer and commercial contracts as well as scheduling maintenance across all areas of the business.

“I help the team by managing workflow, assisting with quoting, ensuring contracts are up to date and accurate, products are available for the job and helping ensure the invoicing is seamless. I love the fact that there is urgency mixed with numbers along with problem solving and that I am able to help supply people with continuous re-occurring access to life’s essential resources,” she says.

Alicia’s spare time is spent with her two beautiful kids or gaming with her partner and siblings.
