No longer afraid of the water at Silverdale Tennis Club
Silverdale Tennis Club members are stoked with their new Microlene Water Cooler which was installed by PASLR as part of an ongoing community partnership.
The club is in the process of revamping their club rooms and office space with minor renovations including fresh paint and a new coffee machine, with clean drinking water being part of the improvements.
Alicia Boyd from the PASLR Customer Services team who assisted with the logistics of the cooler installation says the club’s old water cooler (pictured below) was looking a bit tired which is why they approached PASLR for an upgrade.
“Even though the inside of the cooler was completely fine, apparently no one wanted to drink out of it because it looked so bad, and the club really wanted to encourage everyone to start drinking more water,” she says.
Cara Scott from Silverdale Tennis Club says they have received a lot of positive comments from people about how nice the new cooler looks. “I’m personally so excited that I don’t have to keep buying Pump bottles from the vending machine and throwing away more plastic,” she said.
“(Cooler Technicians) Harry and Trance were also super cool and did a flawless, swift set up for us,” she said.
